I don't understand celebrating birthdays it's a full day of people celebrating your older and to me its like saying you're now one year closer to death congrats

I don’t look at myself as a piece of meat, which every year is approaching its shelf life
I look at myself as a person, so…I’m not just getting older, but also this year I improved some of my skills, became smarter (let me believe it ahah), I met new wonderful people and friends.
